Common area incentives are for installing qualifying equipment in community spaces around multifamily properties. Examples of common areas and associated measures include:
Building exterior, carport/garage/parking area:
- LED lighting and controls
- Custom measures available
Leasing office, interior hallways, lobbies, gyms, pool & club houses, laundry areas:
- LED lighting and controls
- Premium-efficiency unitary and split AC systems
- Premium-efficiency air source heat pumps
- Smart thermostats
- Energy efficient window installation
- Pool pumps, motors, and VSDs
- Custom measures available
In-unit incentives are for installing qualifying equipment in individual dwelling spaces around multifamily properties. Examples of typical in-unit measures include:

The PNM Multifamily Program offers an income-qualified component, which provides increased incentives for qualifying properties.
