A PNM Authorized Equipment Distributor sells an eligible piece of high-efficiency equipment to an eligible PNM commercial or industrial customer. The customer receives a “rebate” as a discount, instantly, at the time of purchase – and doesn’t have to complete any paperwork. PNM then pays the rebate directly to the authorized equipment distributor.
You probably know that high-efficiency equipment saves energy and money, offers improved technology and is better for the environment. Your customer may not understand that while the up-front purchase price of efficient equipment is usually higher, the cost is more than recouped over its lifetime.
