Advanced AC Tune-Up
Helping business customers improve the efficiency of their AC system
Your customer’s air conditioning system may have ran efficiently when it was originally installed, but when was the last time it was serviced or tested to verify its efficiency?
The PNM Advanced AC Tune-Up Program offers training and advanced diagnostic equipment that allows PNM Authorized AC Tune-Up Contractors to perform comprehensive assessments of existing AC equipment, at no or low cost to the customer. Authorized contractors earn incentives based on the size of individual systems serviced.
The PNM Advanced AC Tune-Up Program is for all non-residential customers who own or manage a facility with an average annual energy usage of less than 750,000 kWh.
The preferred facility size for participation is less than 50,000 ft², or less than 750,000 kWh. While larger facilities DO NOT qualify for incentives under the PNM Advanced AC Tune-Up Program, they may qualify for incentives under the Retro-Commissioning Program. The Advanced AC Tune-Up Program primarily services Roof Top Units (RTUs). The minimum size for participation is a 3 ton system and it must be at least 3 years old. Units are eligible for a tune-up once every 5 years.
The energy savings from installed measures must occur on a meter with an eligible rate schedule. Contact your program administrator at energyefficiency@pnm.com to verify.
